Cheyenne, Wyo: Harvey Lee Hoellein, was born Oct. 20, 1938, in Ashton, S.D. and passed away on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Mesa, Ariz.
Harvey grew up on a farm southwest of Northville. He graduated from high school in Northville.
Harvey was married to the love of his life, Karen Bierman, June 10, 1961. He farmed for 25 years, then moved to Rapid City in 1985. He lived and worked in Rapid City until he retired. They moved to Cheyenne, Wyo., in 2010. They became snowbirds and live in Mesa, Ariz., during the winter months. Harvey loved being with his grandchildren, but also enjoyed hunting, traveling and riding his three-wheeled motorcycle.
Harvey is survived by his loving wife, Karen; two sons: Brian and wife Lea, and their two children, Justin and Amy Hoellein; Craig and wife Rhonda, and their two children, Austin and Alexander Hoellein; one daughter, Julie and husband Richard, and their two children, Nathaniel and Jaden Moore.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. May 31 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Rapid City. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. Cards may be mailed to 3165 University Drive, #930, Mesa, AZ 85213.
