His memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 Fifth Ave. N.W., Aberdeen, with Pastor Gary Compton officiating. Bradley's wishes were to be cremated with inurnment taking place at Riverside Cemetery in Aberdeen.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the mortuary. Friends may sign his online guestbook at schriversmemorial.com.
Memorials are preferred to Avera North Plains Hospice, Aberdeen.
Bradley Harold Mills was born Aug. 24, 1953, to Maloy and Mary (Fulker) Mills in Aberdeen. He attended Countryside School, Simmons Junior High School and Aberdeen Central High School. Swimming and spending time outdoors were some of Bradley's favorite activities while growing up.
In 1970, Bradley moved to the Minneapolis area. In 1972, he moved back to Aberdeen, where he was employed at Shennanigan's and RMS Rentals.
Bradley enjoyed watching old movies and learning about history, astronomy and nature. His love of the outdoors continued throughout his lifetime. He most enjoyed walking, especially on the walking trail to Wylie Park.
Survivors include one brother-in-law, Mike Crady of Aberdeen; niece, Kim (Ron) Muth of Mitchell; nephew, Greg (Heather) Crady of Aberdeen; special friend, Darnell Rainford of Aberdeen; and many other friends.
Bradley is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janice Crady.
