Aberdeen: The memorial Mass celebrating the life of Linda Klinger, 64, of Aberdeen will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen, with Father Shaun Haggerty, celebrant.
Linda died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at her home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m., with family present from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 6 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., in Aberdeen.
Linda Diane Robinson was born Dec. 25, 1948, to Ellsworth Robinson and Jean Thoreson in Valley City, N.D. This is the area where she was raised.
On July 19, 1969, Linda was united in marriage to Eugene "Gene" Klinger at Fingal, N.D. Two sons were added to this union. Linda worked as a nurse's aid in Valley City for more than 10 years before the family moved to Aberdeen, where she was employed at Avera St. Luke's for the past 25 years.
Linda enjoyed reading, knitting and camping in the summer. She cherished her time with family, and always looked forward to visits from her two grandchildren. Linda was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family will miss her dearly.
Grateful for having shared Linda's life are her husband, Eugene "Gene" Klinger, Aberdeen; sons: Matthew (Cathy) Klinger, San Diego, Calif., Daniel Klinger, Vermillion; grandsons: Julian Klinger and Allen Klinger; sisters: Judy Horn, Camden Mo., Becky (Brian) Strom, Fargo, N.D., Cindy (Tim) Siegel, Moorhead, Minn.; brothers: Albert (Sandy) Trader Jr., Carrington, N.D., Terry (Judy) Trader, Fargo, N.D.; and stepfather, Albert Trader Sr., Valley City, N.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy Robinson; and grandparents.
