Herreid: Donald Weisbeck, 80, of Herreid died Friday, March 29, 2013, at a hospital in Eureka.

 Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Herreid, with Fr. Thomas Clement officiating.

 Burial will be in the church cemetery.

 Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home in Linton and from 6 to 9 p.m. at the church in Herreid. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

 Donald Weisbeck was born July 23, 1932, in Herreid, the son of Herman and Marie (Schall) Weisbeck. He was raised on a farm west of Herreid.

 Donald married Cyrella Keller on Oct. 2, 1952, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hague, N.D. Following their marriage, they settled on a farm four miles west of Herreid. He was a dairy farmer and did custom baling where he traveled throughout North Dakota. Donald was a member of the Herreid Jaycees and a member of the Campbell County Stars Square Dancing Club. He was an avid fan of all local sports teams and the love of his life was farming. Donald died Friday, March 29, 2013, in Eureka.

 He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cyrella of Herreid; seven children: Jacqueline and Terry Borr of Rapid City, Ricardo and Diane Weisbeck of Eureka, Jennifer and Gary Overby of Tracy, Calif., Jeffrey and Stephanie Weisbeck of Mesa, Ariz., Jacinta and Ed Shortzmann of Rapid City, Randall and Kathy Weisbeck of Aberdeen and Junella and Curt Kost of Vermillion; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Rita Fjeldheim of Herreid and Virginia Silvernagel of Bloomington, Minn.; six brothers and sisters-in-law: James and Eileen Weisbeck of Herreid, Cyril and Viola Weisbeck of Palentine, Ill., Raymond and Rose Weisbeck of Herreid, Leonard Weisbeck of Herreid, Walter and Paula Weisbeck of Prescott, Wis., Eugene and Jackie Weisbeck of Rapid City; and a sister-in-law, Ellen Weisbeck of Herreid.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James; an infant granddaughter, Danielle Weisbeck; and a brother-in-law, Orlan Fjeldheim.
