Phyllis enjoyed making and teaching ceramics, making porcelain dolls, painting still life, toll painting and counted cross-stitch. The dolls were her legacy to her family. Crossword puzzles were her daily challenge.

Following Robert's death, Phyllis returned to this area and resided at the Eastern Star Home in Redfield.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Robert (Cindy) Schultz of Tulare; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; sons: Alan and Roger; and brothers: Dale, Glen, Jim and Dean.
