Osceola, Wis.: Edwin Wolff of Osceola and formerly of Anoka, Minn., and Jamestown, N.D., died Friday, July 19, 2013, at Christian Community Home at age 84.
Edwin was born May 8, 1929, in Forbes, N.D., to Jacob and Mary Wolff. On Jan. 17, 1959, he married his wife Esther at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ellendale, N.D. Both he and Esther worked at the State Hospital in Jamestown. They then moved to Anoka and Edwin worked as a machinist for 28 years. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, snowmobiling, boating, jogged until he was in his late 70s and played accordion in several bands.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Ernest Wolff and Emil Wolff; sister, Ann Schlosser; and nephew, Kenneth B. Brandenburger.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Esther; daughter Inez (Jeff) Reardon; granddaughter, Lydia G. Reardon; grandson, Jacob L. Reardon; nephews: Willard (Beverly) Wolff, James (Ethel) Wolff, John H. Schlosser, Gary E. Schlosser and Walter Wolff; nieces: Karen (John) Brotzel and Betty Wolff; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at the Ellendale City Cemetery in Ellendale.
