West Bend, Wis.: Gerald R. Malsom, 67, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a car/pedestrian accident on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012.
He was born on Aug. 31, 1945, to the late Ralph and Mary (nee Binfet) Malsom. He graduated from high school in Cresbard, Class of '63, and moved to West Bend in 1966. He was employed at West Bend Company.
Jerry was an avid Packer, Brewer and Badger fan. He enjoyed playing sheepshead and bowling. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Holy Angels Parish.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; cherished children: Robin (Tod) Seltrecht, Todd (Tony Kafura) Malsom; beloved grandchildren: Jarrett (Sarah Miller) Tessar, Caitlyn Malsom, Tyler Seltrecht, Morgan Malsom, Megan Seltrecht, Makensie Seltrecht; and brothers: Jim (Maureen) Malsom and Wes (Waneta) Malsom of Aberdeen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at 6 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095), with Deacon Mark Jensen presiding. The visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 5, from 3 to 5:45 p.m.
