Mobridge: Mass of Christian burial for Catherine Kraft, 95, of Mobridge will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mobridge.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge.

Visitation will start at 6 p.m. Friday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Catherine passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Mobridge.

Catherine Holzer was born on May 15, 1918, in Hague, N.D., to John and Johana (Mastel) Holzer. She lived at the family farm north of TrailCity.

She married Casper Kraft on May 25, 1941. In 1958, they moved to McLaughlin where she worked at the school cafeteria for 25 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mobridge.

Catherine is survived by daughters: Lucille (Jerome) Schatz of Flandreau and Marlene Schlenker of Fargo, N.D.; sons: Claude (Cindy) Kraft of Aberdeen, Edward (Brenda) Kraft of Mandan and Terry (Brenda) Kraft of Mobridge; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Kraft of Omaha, Neb.; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers: Willie (Joan) Holzer and Kasmer (Arlene) Holzer; sisters: Tillie Kost, Ida Holzer and Helen (Edward) Reiss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Casper; son, Casmer; son-in-law, Jerry Schlenker; and 10 brothers and sisters.
