Funeral services for Laverne Counting, 74, of Eagle Butte will be Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m. MDT at the community building, Cherry Creek. Burial follows at the Episcopal Cemetery in Cherry Creek under the direction of Stout Family Funeral Home of Mobridge. A procession will meet at the Cherry Creek hill at 5 p.m. Tuesday to the community
building for wake services at 7 p.m.
Laverne entered the spirit world Aug. 22, 2012, in Pierre.
