Bob was born Nov. 9, 1933, in Frederick to Arthur and Hilma Peldo. He graduated from Frederick High School and earned his bachelor's degree at Ellendale State Teachers College.
On Aug. 23, 1953, Bob married his high school sweetheart, Lois Miller, of Monango, N.D.
Bob began his career in Souris, N.D., as a high school basketball coach and industrial arts teacher in 1956. From teaching, he went into sales and climbed the ladder through management, earning the position of vice president of Scott and Fetzer Inc., a Fortune 500 company.
After leaving the corporate world, he became a successful self-employed consultant, offering his services in sales and management training, along with customer service training, throughout the tri-state area and beyond.
After retiring, he was often found on a lake fishing or in his home hobby shop making projects, which he shared with family, friends and charitable organizations. His projects were an inspirational reflection of his strong faith.
Bob loved the Lord and his family beyond belief. He gave his all to make the world a better place.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Bob leaves his wife of 59 years, Lois, along with a son, Greg (Meg Spielman) Peldo, Fargo; daughter, Debbie Kammerzell (Don), Littleton, Colo.; grandchildren: Jake (Kristi) Hendricks, Ben (Stephanie) Hendricks, Zach Kammerzell and Maija Peldo; great-grandchildren: Jackson, Kate and Josslyn; brother, John (Connie) Peldo, Frederick; sister, Evelyn Hildebrand, Minot, N.D.; and brother, Howard (Donna) Peldo, Sheridan, Wyo.
The funeral service will be Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, 215 7th St. S., Fargo, N.D.
Memorials are preferred to the Fargo YWCA, Young Women Christian Shelter.
