Lola E. Milbrandt was born on July 17, 1914, to Charles G. and Lillie L. (Siemann) Milbrandt at Westport. This is the area where she was raised and attended school.
Lola was united in marriage to Edwin A. Pautsch on June 23, 1935, at Westport. The couple made Westport their home and farmed nearby. They then moved to Aberdeen, where Lola was employed at the Aberdeen Country Club and later with the lunch program at Sacred Heart School. She continued to make Aberdeen her home until the time of her death.
Lola was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen and an active member of the Sacred Heart Altar Society. She was a very loyal blood donor, avid bingo player and Minnesota Twins fan.
Surviving Lola are her daughter-in-law, Helen Pautsch of Downey, Calif.; six grandchildren: Shawna Pautsch and Sheila Pautsch of Downey, Calif., Robert King of Memphis, Tenn., Randy (Deborah) King of Memphis, Tenn., Laura (Robert) Wheat of Charleston, S.C., and Richard King of Memphis, Tenn.; five great-grandchildren: Eric and Mitchell King and Mason, Dylan and Victoria Wheat; and many nieces and nephews.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin; daughter, Mona King; son, Lawrence Pautsch; brothers: Walter, Ernest and Lloyd; and sisters: Minnie, Mabel, Inez and Ella; and son-in-law, Leon King.
A special thank you to all my nieces and nephews for all their help.
