There will be visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, and from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday, all at the mortuary. Friends may sign her online guestbook at schriversmemorial.com.

Stephanie Michelle Daschel was born on June 30, 1978, in Sioux Falls to Paul and Shirley (Feickert) Daschel. She attended grade school in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School with honors in 1996. She then furthered her education at the University of Minnesota and Moorhead State University in Fargo, N.D.

Stephanie moved to Fargo in 1998, and began working for U.S. Bank and most recently, at Noridian, until ill-health forced her to stop working.

Stephanie enjoyed life to the fullest and will always be remembered by her family and friends for her smile and her zest for life. She touched the lives of so many people and, even though she was struggling with her own illness, she still found time to leave her imprint on so many others with her big heart and gentle spirit. Even through her death, Stephanie was able to give the gift of sight to someone by being an organ donor.

So grateful for having shared Steph's life are her parents, Paul and Shirley Daschel of Aberdeen; her grandparents: Clarabel Daschel and Leonard and Alvina Feickert of Aberdeen; her aunts and uncles: Richard and Nancy Daschel of Forest Lake, Minn., Jon Daschel and Karey Daschel of Aberdeen, Larry Feickert of Maple Grove, Minn., Lon and Penny Feickert of Faulkton, and Roland and Mary Feickert of Lawrenceville, N.J.; and cousins: Becky (Daschel) King, Jon Daschel, Alex Daschel, Nick Feickert, Marol Feickert, Andrea Feickert, Paul Rugg and Angela (Rugg) Johnson.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandfather, George Daschel, of Aberdeen.

Stephanie and her family would like to thank another special family in her life: Jo Ann Larsen, Bill Garvey, Mary Larsen, Jamie, Laura and Sophia Larsen and, especially, her sister, Sara, and Joseph Von Kennel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Avera North Plains Hospice in Aberdeen.
