Karen Hooth-Quade, 71, of Twin Brooks passed away Feb. 23, 2013, at the Milbank Area Hospital-Avera Health.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 1, at 10:30 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank. The Rev. Caleb Schewe will officiate and burial will be in the Milbank Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at Mundwiler Funeral Home from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and continue at the church on Friday, one hour prior to the service.
Left with her loving memory are her husband, Don Quade, of Twin Brooks; her children: Tina Strickland (Dave Mackey) of Lead, Tabitha Hooth (Misael Rivera) of Lead, Doug Hooth (Tracy DeJean) of Huron, Curt (Robin) Quade of Fargo, N.D., Tanya (Brian) Perry of Worthing; her stepchildren: Renae (Roland) Ward of Belton, Texas, and Kim (Rob) Dorneman of Grand Forks, N.D.; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry (Kathy) Boerger, of Milbank; one sister, Joan (LaVerne) Berkner, of Milton, Wis.; her sisters-in-law: Pat Boerger of Milbank and Shirley Voeltz of Big Stone City; and her brothers-in-law: Ken (Myra) Quade of Milbank and Howard (Jean) Quade of Corona.
