Plainville, Conn.: George "Butch" Bauman, 73, of Plainville and formerly of Sisseton, passed peacefully from this earth on Thursday, May 16, 2013.
His family and friends back in South Dakota were blessed to have him living at his mother's lake home and also at Veblen for the past seven years.
A memorial service with full military honors was held on Saturday, May 25, at the chapel at the State of Connecticut Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, Conn.
