Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
A time of fellowship will follow the service at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home Fellowship Hall on Tuesday.

Charles Joseph Weisser, son of Harold and Josephine (Goeschel) Weisser, was born Jan. 2, 1937, on the family farm. He attended the Highland Township Country School and later Leola High School.
He was united in marriage to Diann Scheuffele at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Leola on March 9, 1958. To this union, eight children were born. Charles loved his life on the ranch, where he lived his entire life. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his family. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and visiting with his family and friends.
In his free time, Charles enjoyed fishing, gardening and flowers. He faithfully watched Pastor Salem on the Christian Worship Hour and he loved his dog, Rummy.
Grateful for having shared his life are his children, Marilyn (Terry) Seiler, Eureka, S.D.; Tammy (Tim) Higgins, Madison, S.D.; Melody Taylor, Aberdeen, and Bill Taylor, Leola; Debra (Jim) Smith, Conde, S.D.; Cindy (Terry) Taylor, Dickinson, N.D.; Peggy (Ed) Caress, Anchorage, Alaska; Charles M. (Val) Weisser, Frederick, S.D.; and George (LuAnn) Weisser, Leola; 30 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers: John (Ella) Weisser, Leola; and James (Joyce) Weisser, Aberdeen; and one sister, Ruth Lapka, Aberdeen.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, George; and stepmother, Tillie.
