Eureka: Memorial service for Clifford Allan Wolff, 89, of Eureka will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Eureka. 

 Burial in Eureka City Cemetery.

 Clifford died Sept. 17, 2013, at Aberdeen Health and Rehab.

 Clifford Allan Wolff was born Oct. 15, 1923, to Gottlieb and Ida (Delker) Wolff just south of Eureka. He attended a rural school for four years. Later his parents moved to a farm south of Eureka, were he attended the Eureka Public School, graduating with the class of 1942.

 He was united in marriage to Violet Katherine Kusler, March 2, 1945, in the Congregational Church Parsonage in Eureka. They made their home on the Wolff family farm. They farmed there one and a half years. In October 1947, they moved to a farm nine miles northeast of Eureka in Spring Creek Township where they raised livestock and small grains. They retired from farming in 1987. Clifford had resided at the Hosmer Senior Citizens Home for 12 years and in May moved to Aberdeen Health and Rehab.

 Clifford was a long-standing member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ where he had served on the board, he also served on the Soil Conservation Board, was a charter member of the Germans from Russia Heritage Society of the Java Chapter, Eureka Chamber of Commerce, Lions International, and for more than 30 years worked part time for the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service.

 Clifford is survived by one daughter, Elaine (Dennis Lamont) Dodds of Slidell, La.; two sons: Ronald (Nancy) Wolff of St. Louis Park, Minn., and Keith Wolff of Chaska, Minn.; one sister, June (Robert) Friske of Aberdeen; two grandchildren: Cheryl Dodds and Jeff (Kris) Wolff; and two great-grandchildren: Jenna and Tyler Wolff.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, on April 7, 2001; two sisters; two brothers.

 Honorary urnbearers will be: Jeff Wolff, Cheryl Dodds and nieces and nephews.

 The family prefers memorials be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1000 N. West Ave., Suite 250, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.  

 Carlsen Funeral Home of Eureka has been entrusted with arrangements.
