Mass of Christian burial for Janet Marie Timmermann, 72, of Aberdeen will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Shane Stevens will officiate.
Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Janet died Dec. 23, 2012, at Aberdeen Health and Rehab.
Janet Marie Kraft, daughter of Vincent and Katherine (Welch) Kraft, was born Dec. 12, 1940. She grew up in Aberdeen, graduating from Central High School. She moved to California to work for a short time.
Janet was married and in the mid-1960s they returned to Aberdeen. She worked at Ben Franklin Store and Pamida. In the early 1980s, she began to work at Super 8 Motel as a front desk clerk, primarily at the west location. In 2005, Janet retired.
Janet enjoyed knitting, crocheting and word search puzzles. She loved baking and selling her Christmas cookies.
Janet was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altar Society and Band 8.
Janet is survived by her two daughters: Kathy (Don) Hanson of Claremont and Tonette (Tony) Voeltz of Sioux Falls; and two grandchildren: Alyssa Voeltz and Rebecca Hanson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter, Sue Ellen; one brother, Wilbur Kraft; and one grandson, Jordan Hanson.
The organist and cantor will be Charlene Blondo.
Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen has been entrusted with the arrangements.
