 Funeral services for Marvine Fredrickson, 87, of Mobridge and formerly of Aberdeen will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Robert Myers and Dr. Harold E. Salem officiating. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Marvine died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Mobridge Regional Hospital.

 Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., Aberdeen.

 Marvine M. Fredrickson was born on Aug. 1, 1925, in Arlington, S.D., to John and Agnes (Paulson) Bjorklund. She grew up on a farm near Arlington and graduated from Volga High School with the class of 1943. She then attended Madison Normal, where she received her teaching certificate. She taught in rural schools for two years in Brookings County. On June 9, 1945, she married Milford Fredrickson at Camp Crowder, Mo. In 1946, they moved to Aberdeen and she worked for the Aberdeen Builders Exchange from 1970 to 1985. Milford died April 22, 1982. In 2011, she moved to Mobridge to be near her family.

 She was a member of First Baptist Church, Aberdeen, the Women's Mission Society. She was an associate member of the Casper E. Yost Chapter of the Telephone Pioneers.

 Grateful for having shared Marvine's life are her daughter, Shela Bohlander, Mobridge; grandchildren, Johnathan (Jennifer) Bohlander, Christopher (Barbara) Bohlander, Sarah (Gage) Mollman, Becky (Jerry) Neill, Justin Fredrickson, Cody Fredrickson, great grandchildren, Emmaline, Eli, Sylvia, Ezra, Eleanor, Alexandra, Conner, Kayla and Taylor; sister, Garnet Jorenby; and sister-in-law, Sheila Bjorklund.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Fredrickson; son, Charles Fredrickson; parents, John and Agnes Bjorklund; son-in-law, Robert Bohlander; brother, Darwin Bjorklund; and brother-in-law, Burton Jorenby.
