Our beautiful little angel sent from Heaven brought such joy to our lives. Her smile lit up the room and her big brown eyes stole our hearts. She adored her big brothers, her 5-year-old brother, Kalen, and her 3-year-old brother, Talon. She was always excited to see Kalen and so overwhelmed with Talon's loving touch. She by far was mommy's girl, but also was completely in love with her Daddy. She wanted Daddy to take her outside and only Mommy to tuck her in bed. Amaya loved sitting in her closet and touching her pretty clothes. She was Mommy's little avid shopper, but not so much a traveler. She loved the lake, sitting in the sand, splashing in the water and riding in the boat. Amaya loved the farm with all the animals, tractors and Honda rides.

Amaya was saying so many new words every day. Her favorites were dada, hi, papa, pretty-pretty and bye-bye. She loved being sung to and snuggling in your arms. She did so many things before her time, maybe knowing she had only a short time with the ones she loved on this earth. She touched so many lives, and we will miss her every day.

A memorial has been established in the name of Amaya Marie Larson at Dacotah Bank.

Grateful for having shared Amaya's life are her parents, Dr. Christopher and Melissa Larson; brothers: Kalen and Talon Larson, all of Aberdeen; grandparents: Frank and Dianne Larson, Pierre, Gary and Twila Rausch, Onaka; great-grandparents: Eleanor Unterbrunner, Carthage; Frankie Baker, Wecota; Janice Rausch, Aberdeen; uncles and aunts: Heath (Misty) Larson, Pierre; Jarod (Amanda) Larson, Timber Lake; Mark Rausch, Rapid City; and Nicole Rausch, Aberdeen; godparents, Butch and Connie Klein, Aberdeen.
